Mechanism: Moisture lamination & optical filtration

Hydromer forms a breathable film across skin composed of over 60% Jeju Island algae polymers that instantly accumulates a surge of plumping moisture while trapping it in—resulting in minimized pores all day long, without pore-clogging silicones. 

In addition, Hydromer reduces saturation of blemishes (red, purple and dull hues) readable by the human eye by increasing the amount of light being absorbed and refracted back from skin’s surface similar to a filter—rendering clearer, smoother looking skin.

Irritant-proof

Mechanism: Semi-permeable membrane dressing

In contrast to preventing beneficial compounds to escape, Hydromer prevents irritants to enter by intercepting direct skin contact. Ever present irritants such as micro-dust and city pollution to sensitizing ingredients directly applied on skin found in your sunscreen/makeup formulas - protecting skin from congestion and inflammatory triggers: enabling uninterrupted healing throughout the day. 


Primes 

Mechanism: Makeup-polymer unification & oxidation suppression

Hydromer is a thermoreversible formula. It applies viscous and melts down with the warmth of your skin’s temperature, gripping sunscreen / makeup on before settling skin-tight. In addition, Hydromer reduces skin’s natural sebum to come in contact with air, sunscreen and/or makeup which minimizes oxidation - the chemical reaction that causes clogged pores, smudging and cakeyness. Altogether nurturing higher performing sun protection and / or longer lasting no-makeup makeup finish, with a dewy undertone. 

Dispense 2 - 3 pumps of Hydromer onto fingertips and stretch an even layer across skin after all skincare steps, before sunscreen. 

*Dab sunscreen and/or base makeup on as opposed to rubbing when dressed with Hydromer

Storage: Hydromer may stiffen under 20°C or liquidize above 30°C due to it's viscoelastic nature. Store at room temperature and away from direct sunlight.
